Daily Schedule
8:00 – 9:30 Arrival of full day children.
9:00 – 9:30 Arrival of half day children.
9:45 – 10:45 Morning Meeting. Learning choices: finding friends, small group time, exploring the environment, art activities, easel painting, sensory activities, discovery and imaginative play, library, block-building, large and small motor activities. Optional snack.
11:00 – 11:45 Small Group Time; child and teacher directed activities; language arts, music and movement, special projects, math and science, dramatics and discussion groups.
12:00 – 12:45 Lunch
12:45 – 1:00 Morning Circle Time and Good-bye. Departure for half-day children.
1:15 – 1:30 Prepare for rest time and napping
1:30 – 2:45 Rest time and napping
3:00–3:30 Children wake up and enjoy afternoon group activities and afternoon snack.
3:30 – 4:15 Afternoon Small Group Time; child and teacher directed activities; language arts, music and movement, special projects, math and science, dramatics and discussion groups.
4:15 – 4:45 Clean up; Afternoon Circle & Goodbye; Afternoon parent arrival.
4:45 – 5:00 CENTER CLOSED
PreK time will be held in the morning from 10:00 - 11:00 am, or in the afternoon from 3:00 - 4:00 pm, one day per week.
